Empty Bowls – A Simple Meal, A Powerful Message
Empty Bowls is a heartfelt, grassroots movement led by artists and craftspeople around the world, all working together to help fight hunger in their local communities. The idea is simple: create and share beautiful handmade bowls, serve a humble meal of soup, and raise funds and awareness for those in need.
Every bowl offered is a reminder of the many empty bowls still to be filled. Through these events, millions of dollars have been raised in support of food-related charities across the globe.
Would you like to help? If you’d like to donate a handmade bowl or contribute soup for the event, please reach out to our Vice Chair, Linda Fletcher.
Everyone is welcome to come, enjoy a warm bowl of soup, and share in the spirit of giving and community.
For pottery bowl donations please contact Linda Fletcher at vicechair@nhpottersguild.org
