Education
The New Hampshire Potters Guild supports ceramics education by providing opportunities for artists and community members to learn, share skills, and deepen their understanding of the ceramic arts. Through workshops, demonstrations, artist talks, and collaborative kiln firings, the Guild connects potters of all experience levels with experienced makers and educators. These programs encourage the exchange of knowledge, promote traditional and contemporary ceramic practices, and help strengthen the community of ceramic artists throughout New Hampshire.

Joining the Education Committee of the New Hampshire Potters Guild (NHPG) is a great way for members to support the Guild’s mission of fostering learning, skill-sharing, and community among ceramic artists across the state. The committee works to develop and coordinate educational opportunities such as workshops, demonstrations, artist talks, and kiln firings that are open to Guild members and the wider public. By collaborating with artists and instructors, the committee helps bring a wide range of ceramic knowledge to New Hampshire—from technical instruction to discussions of contemporary practice. Participating on the Education Committee allows members to contribute ideas, help organize events, and strengthen the Guild’s role as a hub for ceramic education and artistic exchange.
