I've been an artist my entire life, and was encouraged by my parents from an early age. Since earning a degree in fine arts and education, I've worked consistently in the arts community. I am a signature member of nationally recognized arts organizations and have been honored with national awards, and I feel blessed to continue my journey of self discovery.
My current passion is Pleinaire painting using oil. I've been very fortunate to have studied with many noted professional artists in my career. My formal Pleinaire training lasted seven years with Pamela Dulong Williams. Other artists who have had a significant influence on my watercolor and oil works are Marley Watton, Paul George, Don Andrews, Don Stone and Frank Webb.
Since moving to Maui, I've focused on painting the many beautiful views along the shore and in the landscape. The beautiful and pristine subject matter is truly inspiring and island life has always suited me.
